About the Role
A leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider in Malaysia is seeking a strategic and experienced Vice President of Human Resources to join its executive team. This role is critical in shaping a future-ready people strategy that drives growth, strengthens culture, and ensures operational excellence.
You’ll lead across HR, Talent Acquisition, Corporate Communications, Administration, and ESG, aligning all people-related initiatives with the company’s transformation goals. This is a rare opportunity to make a lasting impact in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- IPO Readiness: Develop and implement HR strategies that support business transformation and public listing.
- Leadership Partner: Advise the CEO and executive team on organisational design, change management, and human capital strategy.
- Talent Strategy: Lead workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and retention across high-volume operations.
- Culture & Engagement: Champion employee engagement, diversity, inclusion, and leadership development.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure HR systems and policies meet Malaysian labour laws and public company standards.
- Corporate Communications: Oversee internal and external messaging to strengthen brand and employee alignment.
- ESG Leadership: Drive initiatives in fair labour practices, ethical governance, and community engagement.
- Administrative Oversight: Manage facilities and support services to ensure operational efficiency.
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s in HR, Business, or related field; Master’s or HR certification (SHRM, HRCI) preferred.
- Experience: Experience in HR leadership, including 5–7 years at Head/VP level in large, complex organisations.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, high-volume recruitment, and HR operations in BPO settings.
- Strategic Vision: Proven success in leading HR through growth, transformation, or IPO preparation.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills with experience in corporate communications.
- Leadership: Empathetic, collaborative, and capable of inspiring teams across all levels.
- ESG Exposure: Hands-on experience with ESG frameworks and governance reporting.
