An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join a leading financial services organisation as Assistant Vice President Human Resources Planning and Transformation.

This pivotal role is designed for someone who thrives on strategic thinking, analytical rigour, and digital transformation within the HR function.

  • Play a central role in driving HR digitalisation and analytics initiatives that directly impact business outcomes across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver actionable workforce insights and support evidence-based decisions.

What you'll do:

As Assistant Vice President Human Resources Planning and Transformation, your day-to-day responsibilities will centre around providing expert guidance on workforce planning strategies while harnessing the power of people analytics to inform critical business decisions. Your expertise in designing executive dashboards will enable you to translate complex data into clear narratives that support strategic discussions at the highest levels. By championing data integrity and governance within HR systems, you will help build a robust foundation for ongoing digital transformation efforts. Through your leadership in cross-functional projects aimed at digitalising HR operations, you will contribute significantly to building an agile workforce equipped for future challenges.

  • Lead comprehensive workforce planning processes including supply-demand forecasting, segmentation, and capability gap analysis to support business growth and transformation.
  • Design and deliver executive dashboards and reporting packs using advanced analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel to provide insights on headcount, attrition, hiring trends, diversity metrics, productivity, and performance indicators.
  • Drive annual manpower planning cycles, headcount budgeting exercises, and cost forecasting activities to ensure alignment with both HR strategy and broader financial objectives.
  • Support the HR Business Partners by developing strategic models for organisation design, succession planning, internal mobility pathways, and skills forecasting.
  • Champion data integrity across all HR systems by collaborating with HRIS and digital teams to enhance system reporting accuracy, automation processes, and data visualisation capabilities.
  • Oversee data governance frameworks within the HR function to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while optimising technology platforms for maximum efficiency.
  • Contribute to talent strategy initiatives by leveraging scenario modelling techniques that inform job architecture development, competency modelling efforts, and talent intelligence platform utilisation.

What you bring:

To excel as Assistant Vice President Human Resources Planning and Digitalisation, you will bring a wealth of experience from previous roles where you have successfully navigated complex environments requiring both analytical acumen and strategic foresight. Ultimately, your passion for continuous improvement drives you to seek out new ways of optimising processes through digital innovation.

  • Experience in HR business planning, people analytics or strategic human resources roles within financial services or similarly regulated industries is essential.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using advanced analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau alongside strong command of Excel for dashboard creation and reporting purposes.
  • Hands-on experience with major HRIS platforms including but not limited to Workday or SAP SuccessFactors is highly desirable for this position.
  • Proven ability to present complex datasets and emerging trends clearly to senior management audiences in ways that influence strategic direction.
  • Comprehensive understanding of organisational structures coupled with practical knowledge of workforce planning frameworks and budgeting methodologies.
