What you'll do:

As a Senior Medical Device Sales Executive based in Kuala Lumpur, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the reach of advanced surgical instruments throughout hospitals in the region. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve identifying new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships through attentive service delivery. You will act as a trusted advisor by offering technical support during surgical procedures—ensuring surgeons have access to up-to-date information about instrument usage.   • Identify and acquire new hospital clients for the sale of O&G, Urology, and General Surgery instruments while nurturing existing relationships within the healthcare sector.
  • Maintain excellent client relationships by providing sales support, after-sales services, and tailored solution recommendations that address specific customer needs.
  • Offer crucial technical support to surgeons and operating room teams during procedures by sharing expertise on surgical instruments and staying updated with the latest techniques.
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations focused on surgical instruments and their applications to educate clients and stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at relevant medical exhibitions and conferences, showcasing products and building networks within the industry.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to develop specialised sales strategies for the surgical instruments market that drive results.
  • Achieve sales targets for your portfolio of surgical instruments while expanding presence within surgical departments across multiple institutions.
  • Lead conversations with clients and stakeholders to foster trust, understanding, and long-term partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide detailed reports to the Sales Manager for effective tracking and analysis.
  • Update management with sales projections, market activity insights, trend analyses, and competitor information through regular presentations.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings with team members and trainees to share knowledge, discuss progress, and align on goals.
  • Provide guidance and training to new team members and trainees to ensure high standards of professionalism and ethics are upheld.
  • Travel as required for job duties including participation in industry events, maintaining technical skills, benchmarking best practices, and developing knowledge.
