- Negotiate optimal shelf space in stores to reflect market share or secure superior locations for leading brands while arranging attractive window and in-store displays.
- Place and maintain merchandising materials such as shelf trays, management trays, leaflet holders, and window displays in selected retail outlets to enhance visibility.
- Recommend suitable stores for merchandiser visits and displays while advising on costs, space requirements, and timing to management.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of both the features and benefits of promoted products as well as competitor offerings to ensure effective communication with customers.
- Utilise sales data analysis tools including OCE systems to identify new business opportunities by downloading reports from service provider websites and formulating actionable sales plans.
- Assess existing customers every six months using established criteria to evaluate current business value while prospecting for new clients through planned call patterns and outstation trips.
- Complete all required weekly or monthly reports accurately and on time—including expenses—and ensure electronic transmission of orders to logistics providers daily.
- Maintain a comprehensive electronic territory database with up-to-date profiles for each customer while providing timely market intelligence reports as requested by management.
- Participate actively in trade shows, public forums, weekend work when necessary, as well as internal meetings such as Sales Meetings, Cycle Meetings, and National/International Sales Conferences.
