An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Strategy Workshop Facilitator to join a respected consultancy on an overseas engagement lasting between three and six months. This role is perfect for someone who is fluent in French, and thrives in collaborative environments, enjoys connecting with diverse groups, and is passionate about making a positive impact across economic and social sectors such as energy, mining, agriculture, and education.

What you'll do:

As a Strategy Consultant Workshop Facilitator, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of delivering interactive sessions designed to help organisations clarify their strategic direction. Your day-to-day activities will involve:

  • Facilitating engaging strategy workshops for client organisations in various economic and social sectors such as the public sector, energy, mining, agriculture, and education, ensuring all participants are actively involved and outcomes are clearly defined.
  • Applying advanced facilitation techniques to guide discussions, encourage idea sharing among participants, and foster consensus on strategic priorities.
  • Collaborating closely with client teams to understand their unique challenges and tailor workshop content to address specific organisational needs.
  • Supporting the design and development of workshop materials that are both informative and visually compelling using tools like PowerPoint.
  • Engaging with stakeholders at multiple levels to ensure alignment on objectives before, during, and after each workshop session.
  • Independently managing project workstreams related to workshop delivery while providing regular updates to senior consultants or engagement managers.

What you bring:

To excel as a Strategy Workshop Facilitator, you will bring substantial experience from management consulting roles where you have honed your ability to deliver structured engagements across various industries. Your background should include:

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in management consulting with a proven track record of delivering results in complex environments, OR experience in facilitating though-proviking workshops to diverse groups of professionals.
  • Proficiency in developing impactful presentations using PowerPoint or similar tools that communicate ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Outstanding communication skills that allow you to connect with people from all walks of life while fostering an inclusive atmosphere during workshops.
  • Fluent communication in French as the workshops will be delivered overseas in native French-speaking environments
  • Ability to independently lead project workstreams while supporting overall engagement management through effective planning and coordination.
  • Exceptional client-facing skills with a talent for building rapport quickly and managing stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
