Our client is seeking a seasoned Hotel Manager to lead their establishment located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. What you'll do:

As the Hotel Manager, you will be at the forefront of our client's efforts to build a timeless hospitality brand. Your role will involve planning, coordinating, and managing all business operations while developing strategies for profitability and sustainability. You will uphold the quality of guest experiences, fostering loyalty and retention. Your leadership will create a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance. You will also provide direction and guidance to employees in their assigned duties while managing various administrative tasks.

  • Plan, coordinate and manage all business operations to achieve corporate goals.
  • Develop and implement business plans for profitability and sustainability.
  • Lead efforts to establish planning and organisation to drive clarity and focus.
  • Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities.
  • Uphold the quality and delivery of guest experiences to foster loyalty and retention.
  • Schedule regular team meetings to discuss business updates, issues, and recommendations.
  • Champion effective communication to ensure transparency and alignment of values/objectives.
  • Create a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high-performing individuals.
  • Provide direction and guidance to employees in their assigned job duties.
  • Manage administrative, logistical, human resources, and accounting services to support company operations.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Hotel Manager position brings extensive experience in luxury hotel or resort management. With excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, you are adept at leading teams, strategic planning, and organisational management. Your resilience makes you an effective problem solver who is open-minded, curious, self-motivated, with a growth mindset. A bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity, with 10 years preferred experience in a luxury hotel/resort environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
  • Proven Leadership in people management, strategic planning, and organization at a high level.
  • Strong communicator and effective listener.
  • A resilient and resourceful problem solver who is open-minded and curious.
  • Self-motivated individual with a growth mindset.
