What you'll do:

As a Product Engineer Quality based in Shah Alam, you will immerse yourself in every aspect of vehicle quality management. Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to address road test findings, audit results, market complaints, and after-sales feedback. You will play an essential role in analysing technical data, coordinating with research institutes for root cause investigations, and implementing robust solutions that enhance product reliability. • Confirm market complaint issues by acquiring relevant data, collaborating with research institutes for thorough analysis and optimisation, and validating implemented solutions.
• Support after-sales service teams by confirming design problem phenomena, gathering necessary data, driving research institutes to conduct detailed problem analysis, and verifying outcomes.
• Organise historical issue lists and conduct inspections on factory-produced vehicles to proactively prevent recurrence of known problems.
• Oversee vehicle manufacturing issues during project phases by conducting preliminary analyses, assigning responsibilities for resolution, verifying corrective actions, and monitoring progress until closure.
• Set quality targets and develop comprehensive quality plans throughout all stages of vehicle development to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
• Conduct audits of all quality activities across projects, systematically collecting deliverables to maintain rigorous documentation standards.
• Submit required quality deliverables at each milestone of the vehicle development process to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.

• Experience using common diagnostic devices for problem analysis including CAN log data collection systems or similar electronic troubleshooting equipment.
• A solid background in setting measurable quality targets along with developing detailed quality plans tailored to each phase of vehicle development projects.
• Proven track record conducting comprehensive audits of quality activities while maintaining accurate records of deliverables across multiple milestones.
• Ability to lead or participate actively within a collaborative team focused on continuous improvement initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills enabling effective identification of root causes behind complex technical issues coupled with a methodical approach towards verification of corrective measures.
