What You’ll Do

As the Project Manager, you will play a critical role in leading manufacturing projects that align with the company’s growth strategy. Your key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing end-to-end delivery of manufacturing CAPEX, plant construction, expansion, and upgrade projects.
• Developing project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
• Managing multidisciplinary teams across civil, mechanical, electrical, automation, and production functions.
• Driving automation initiatives such as Industry 4.0, digitalization, and smart manufacturing systems integration (e.g., PLC, SCADA, MES).
• Leading equipment installation, commissioning activities, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Preparing CAPEX proposals and monitoring project financial performance.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, food safety protocols (HACCP/ISO), and statutory requirements.
• Identifying risks through HAZOP studies and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Supporting sustainability goals by optimizing energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste reduction efforts.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for an all-rounder with strong technical expertise and a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate will have:

Qualifications & Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8–12 years of project management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proven track record managing medium to large CAPEX projects.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong technical knowledge across electrical systems, machinery operations, chemical processes, utilities (wastewater treatment plants, chillers), and cold room management.
• Familiarity with FMCG or food manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of HACCP standards and ISO certifications for hygiene compliance.
• Leadership skills with the ability to work independently while coordinating with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage for liaising with contractors from China.
• Curiosity to learn new technologies and processes coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
