Business Analyst Finance Module

A leading organisation in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Business Analyst with a specialisation in finance and accounting to play a pivotal role in the rollout of their Microsoft Business Central (MSBC) ERP project.

As a Business Analyst Finance Module based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between finance operations and technology during a major ERP rollout. Your day-to-day activities will involve the following scopes :

• Serve as the primary liaison between finance teams and IT departments, ensuring business requirements are accurately translated into system configurations for the MSBC ERP rollout.
• Analyse existing finance and accounting processes, document workflows, and identify areas for optimisation in alignment with the new system implementation.
• Engage with stakeholders across various departments to gather detailed requirements, uncover process gaps, and propose effective solutions that support organisational objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth financial workflows including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting modules.
• Conduct comprehensive impact assessments related to process changes and actively support change management initiatives to encourage user adoption of new systems.
• Develop detailed test cases for finance functionalities within MSBC, execute testing protocols, validate system outputs against expected results, and troubleshoot any discrepancies or issues identified.
• Provide hands-on training sessions and ongoing user support for finance and accounting functionalities within MSBC to ensure all users are comfortable with new processes.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all process changes, system configurations, and user feedback to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Monitor regulatory compliance throughout the implementation process by applying your understanding of accounting standards and financial principles.
• Participate in regular project meetings, share insights with team members, and contribute positively to a collaborative project environment.
