Project Engineer

Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Project Engineer to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide technical expertise in the design, specification, and analysis of pipework systems for various projects.

You will be responsible for delivering proposals, quotations, and engineering designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. What you'll do:

As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting sales teams and customers by providing your technical expertise in the design, specification, and analysis of pipework systems for various projects. You will be involved in stress analysis, material selection, and system optimization either independently or by leveraging on the global engineering team. Your responsibilities also include executing fabrication projects as per requirements including drawing review and fabrication assessment. Your ability to communicate effectively with various internal departments will facilitate project-related works.

• Develop and review technical proposals, quotes, and engineering designs for mechanical pipework systems
• Execute fabrication projects as per requirements including drawing review and fabrication assessment
• Support pre-sales and post-sales engineering activities as required
• Collaborate with the global engineering team to optimise project delivery
• Provide required engineering support to succeed in the project
• Involve in stress analysis, material selection, and system optimization independently or by leveraging on the global engineering team

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Project Engineer role is a degree holder in mechanical/chemical or related engineering field with 1-2 years working experience in piping system. You possess strong knowledge in fluid dynamic and its basic concepts such as flow rate, pressure loss, friction loss, pipe stress. Prior knowledge in piping application will be advantageous. Proficiency in Naviswork, Auto CAD 2D/3D with ability to model in Revit and Plant 3D would be an added advantage. Your willingness to continuously learn and improve coupled with your ability to work as a team player will be highly valued.
