What you'll do:

As a Regional Design Engineer Automation, you will play a pivotal role in designing advanced electrical circuits and automation systems for various projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing detailed designs, selecting suitable hardware components, preparing technical documentation, conducting reviews with clients, and performing rigorous testing procedures both in-office and onsite. You will also manage project timelines effectively while resolving any design conflicts that may arise. By submitting precise engineering hour reports through SAP systems, you will help maintain budgetary control. • Perform engineering design in compliance with established principles, ensuring all work is completed within allocated budgets and project schedules.
• Develop detailed electrical circuit designs, select appropriate components, and create termination designs tailored to each project’s requirements.
• Choose controllers and hardware for automation projects based on technical specifications and client needs.
• Conduct technical reviews with clients to ensure alignment between project objectives and engineering solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation including circuit diagrams, block diagrams, functional design specifications, mapping lists, system architecture documents, logic diagrams, and more.
• Create logic preparations that meet the functional specifications outlined for each project.
• Carry out functional hardware and software testing both at the office and onsite to verify performance against requirements.
• Deliver complete electrical and automation systems within the designated project timeline, ensuring quality standards are met throughout.
• Resolve design conflicts efficiently by managing changes and delivering design needs as they arise during project execution.
• Submit timely engineering hour reports to facilitate accurate tracking of budgets using SAP operation data processing systems.

• Experience preparing comprehensive engineering documentation such as circuit diagrams, block diagrams, functional specifications, mapping lists, system architecture documents, logic diagrams, etc., is important.
• Strong skills in selecting controllers and hardware based on project requirements will enable you to deliver effective solutions.
• Ability to conduct functional hardware and software testing both at office locations and onsite ensures reliability of delivered systems.
• Competence in resolving design conflicts efficiently by managing changes during project execution is vital for maintaining workflow continuity.
• Familiarity with SAP operation data processing systems for submitting engineering hour reports supports accurate budget tracking.
• Excellent interpersonal skills allow you to collaborate effectively with internal teams as well as external clients during technical reviews.
