What you'll do:

As a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in Penang, you will play a pivotal role in supporting production processes for both established and newly launched products. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve managing a dedicated team of engineers and technicians while driving process optimisation initiatives inspired by proven methods from the US headquarters. Success in this role requires you to foster a culture of collaboration among cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless coordination between production, quality assurance, supply chain management, and maintenance. • You will oversee the daily operations of manufacturing engineering for assigned Business Units, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently.
• You will provide hands-on support to both new and existing product lines by optimising manufacturing procedures based on best practices from the US headquarters.
• You will manage a direct report team consisting of three engineers and five technicians, fostering a collaborative atmosphere that encourages knowledge sharing and teamwork.
• You will implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and safety within the manufacturing environment.
• You will coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, supply chain, and maintenance to resolve operational challenges promptly.
