What you'll do:

As a SMT Engineer, you’ll dive headfirst into the full spectrum of process development activities—from initial design reviews right through to hands-on troubleshooting on the production floor.   • A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronic/Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification is required for this position.
  • Demonstrated experience in process engineering within electronics assembly or related industries is essential for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in technical skills relevant to assembly processes such as conformal coating, potting, backend electronics processing is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical abilities combined with a systematic approach to problem-solving enable you to address complex challenges effectively.
  • Experience managing projects including New Product Introduction (NPI) as well as sustaining ongoing processes is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with industry standards governing process control ensures compliance with best practices throughout all operations.
  • Hands-on experience conducting process simulations provides valuable insights into potential improvements before implementation.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles supports efforts towards waste reduction and operational efficiency gains.
  • Competence using process engineering software packages enhances your ability to model scenarios and analyse outcomes efficiently.
