SAP Specialist

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and dependable SAP Specialist to join their team in Penang.

What you'll do:

As an SAP Specialist, your primary role will be implementing and supporting SAP processes across a range of modules. You'll be tasked with understanding business owner requirements and mapping these to appropriate SAP solutions. Your strong project management skills will be put to use as you oversee projects from design through to development. Additionally, you'll provide essential support for SAP user operations - a key aspect of maintaining smooth business operations.

• You will be responsible for SAP Operations and Maintenance across various modules including SD, LE, FI, CO, MM, PP, QM, PM.
• You will implement assigned SAP processes, solutions and products.
• You will analyse business owners’ requirements, map them to SAP, identify gaps and dependencies among applicable modules.
• You will manage projects from design to development including UAT and user training.
• You will coordinate with technical consultants and IT teams on new developments and resolving end-user SAP transaction queries.
• You will support SAP user operations including troubleshooting, inquiries, enhancement, maintenance.

The ideal candidate for this SAP Specialist role brings a wealth of experience in the SAP environment along with a strong educational background in Computer Science or Information Technology. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of working experiences in an SAP environment.
• Strong analytical and product management skills.
• Ability to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application requirements.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of SAP S4/Hana and experience of its implementation.
