What you'll do:
As a Staff/Senior Engineer for Embedded Software Development, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of vehicle digitalisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include selecting and developing algorithms, contributing to new technical concepts, and resolving typical problems using established implementation strategies. You will also be expected to investigate and fix observed problems, communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, collaborate with team members on feature increments, and support less experienced colleagues. Your contributions will be integral to the success of our client's ambitious projects.
* Select appropriate algorithms/concepts and develop them further to tackle typical problems
* Contribute to the implementation of new technical concepts within your team
* Apply established implementation strategies to successfully resolve typical problems
* Investigate the root cause of observed problems and contribute to fixing them
* Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to justify decisions, answer technical questions, resolve issues, or support acquisitions
* Collaborate with team members to deliver feature increments
* Align contributions to larger features with colleagues from other teams
* Support less experienced colleagues to master technical challenges
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Staff/Senior Engineer - Embedded Software Development position brings a wealth of experience and skills. You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering, along with proven experience in embedded software engineering. Your hands-on development and troubleshooting skills on embedded targets are second to none, and you have experience with various architectures using different microcontrollers. Your solid programming experience in C or object-oriented programming sets you apart, as does your ability to read schematics and data sheets for components. Above all, your excellent communication skills make you a valuable team player.
* Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering
* Proven working experience in embedded software engineering
* Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets
* Experience with one or more architectures using different microcontrollers with real-time constraints is a plus
* Solid programming experience in C or object oriented programming
* Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components
* Good oral / written communication and interpersonal skills
