You will be responsible for preparing thorough documentation that supports every stage of project execution while ensuring all safety protocols are meticulously followed. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with internal teams to provide updates on project progress and share critical information through timely uploads of reports and manuals. Your commitment to continuous learning will see you participating in technical trainings that keep you at the forefront of industry developments. By managing travel logistics efficiently and submitting accurate reports promptly after each assignment, you will help maintain the highest standards of service delivery. Success in this role means being dependable in communication during job handovers and consistently adhering to operational policies that underpin the company’s reputation for excellence.

  • Ensure all tasks are carried out safely and in strict compliance with company standards and industry regulations at all times.
  • Install, commission, troubleshoot, and overhaul complex mechanical equipment both on-site at client locations and within appointed workshops locally or internationally.
  • Prepare detailed service procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure all necessary tools are available to support seamless project execution.
  • Provide timely updates and coordinate effectively with internal teams such as Customer Support and Business Units to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Upload comprehensive service reports, manuals, and photographic evidence promptly to the shared drive for transparent record-keeping.
  • Participate actively in technical trainings as required to stay current with evolving technologies and best practices.
  • Support travel logistics by managing documentation requirements and visa applications efficiently for international assignments.
  • Submit precise service reports within two days of completing each assignment to maintain high standards of accountability.
  • Facilitate proper handover processes by communicating clearly about ongoing or completed jobs with relevant stakeholders.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies regarding travel arrangements, time reporting, and operational procedures.

What you bring:

You understand the importance of clear communication—whether it’s updating internal teams or preparing meticulous documentation—and you value collaborative teamwork that leads to successful project outcomes. Your ability to adapt quickly when faced with new challenges makes you an asset during international assignments where flexibility is crucial. A strong sense of responsibility towards safety underpins everything you do; you approach each task with care for both people and equipment. With your keen attention to detail in report writing and process adherence, you help uphold the high standards expected by clients across demanding industries.

  • A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is essential for this position.
  • At least three to five years of experience in field service roles or aftermarket technical support within industrial environments is required.
  • A background working within Power Generation, Oil & Gas, or Mining & Metals industries will enable you to excel in this role.
  • Hands-on familiarity with mechanical drive systems or power transmission technologies would be highly advantageous.
  • A willingness to travel frequently—up to 70% of your time—is necessary due to the international scope of assignments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are needed for effective collaboration with internal teams as well as external clients.
  • Strong organisational abilities are vital for managing documentation accurately and meeting tight reporting deadlines after each assignment.
  • A commitment to safety protocols ensures all work is performed responsibly according to company standards.
