What you'll do:
As a Project Manager in this forward-thinking organisation based in KL, you will be entrusted with guiding complex booth design and build projects from inception through completion. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close interaction with clients to understand their vision, meticulous planning of project timelines and budgets, as well as hands-on coordination with both internal teams and external partners. You will be instrumental in driving business development efforts by fostering long-term client relationships built on trust and reliability. On-site presence during setup and teardown phases will allow you to ensure that every detail aligns with quality standards. By preparing detailed progress reports and conducting insightful post-event reviews, you will contribute significantly to the organisation’s culture of continuous improvement. - Oversee the entire lifecycle of booth design and build projects, ensuring seamless planning, coordination, execution, and delivery that meets client expectations.
- Facilitate client briefings with empathy and clarity, establish realistic timelines, monitor budgets closely, and ensure all project milestones are achieved efficiently.
- Drive business development initiatives by nurturing client relationships and promoting booth construction as well as official contractor services with a considerate approach.
- Collaborate effectively with internal design teams, production staff, and external vendors such as carpenters, printers, and AV specialists to deliver outstanding project outcomes.
- Supervise on-site setup and teardown activities with attention to detail to guarantee quality standards are upheld and deadlines are consistently met.
- Manage variation orders thoughtfully, prepare comprehensive progress reports for stakeholders, and conduct thorough post-event evaluations to foster continuous improvement.
- Support knowledge sharing within the team by documenting best practices and lessons learned from each project phase.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all stages of project delivery.
- Maintain open communication channels with all parties involved to resolve issues promptly while upholding a positive team spirit.
- Champion a culture of collaboration by encouraging input from diverse perspectives during project planning and execution.

- Proficiency in reading AutoCAD drawings enables you to interpret design specifications accurately when liaising with designers or contractors.
- A deep understanding of production materials ensures informed decision-making when selecting resources or negotiating costs with suppliers.
- Strong negotiation skills allow you to secure favourable terms from vendors while maintaining positive working relationships built on mutual respect.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities help you collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across departments as well as external partners such as carpenters or AV specialists.
