The company is committed to reducing environmental impact while delivering innovative solutions to top-tier clients across advanced technology sectors.

You will benefit from comprehensive support, including robust training opportunities, generous benefits, and a collaborative environment that values your growth and well-being. If you are passionate about building high-performing teams, ensuring quality and safety, and contributing to sustainable business practices, this role offers the perfect platform for your expertise.

  • Be part of the pioneer team responsible for launching a new flagship facility in Johor, with full support from regional leadership and access to global resources.
  • Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including personal accident insurance, medical coverage (hospitalisation and specialist care), dental check-ups, education subsidies for further studies, incentive trips for high performers, and technical training opportunities both online and overseas.
  • Work within an inclusive culture that prioritises employee well-being, professional development, flexible working opportunities where possible, and recognises outstanding contributions through various allowances and rewards.

What you'll do:

As Plant Site Manager at this new Johor facility, you will be entrusted with end-to-end oversight of daily operations—ranging from production management to quality assurance—while championing best practices in safety and compliance. Your day-to-day will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency using proven methodologies such as Lean principles. You will be instrumental in developing strong partnerships with customers by supporting the sales function in resolving any service-related challenges. In addition to managing budgets and financial performance metrics for the site, you will also ensure that all activities adhere strictly to regulatory requirements as well as internal policies. By fostering an environment built on teamwork and shared learning, you will help cultivate a high-performance culture that supports both individual growth and collective success. Your ability to anticipate operational needs—whether it’s optimising inventory or implementing process improvements—will be key in achieving seamless site performance. Regular reporting to senior leadership ensures transparency around progress on strategic initiatives while providing you with ongoing guidance from experienced mentors.

  • Provide strategic direction to all departments at the Johor site, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and vision while fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Oversee budgeting processes, forecasting activities, and overall site performance to ensure profitability and effective cost control measures are consistently implemented.
  • Lead cross-functional teams by nurturing a learning-oriented environment that encourages knowledge sharing, teamwork, and continuous improvement across all levels.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) closely and implement corrective actions promptly to maintain optimal operational standards.
  • Ensure strict compliance with legal requirements, regulatory frameworks, corporate codes of conduct, and internationally recognised quality standards such as ISO certifications.
  • Collaborate proactively with the sales team to build strong customer relationships and provide responsive support in addressing client concerns or service issues.
  • Manage daily operations encompassing raw materials planning, production scheduling, product quality assurance, warehouse management, logistics coordination, and supply chain optimisation.
  • Drive process improvements by monitoring production costs and overheads while leveraging methodologies like value stream mapping (VSM) and Just-in-Time (JIT) delivery systems.
  • Take responsibility for loading plans and supply strategies by evaluating production capacity against demand forecasts to guarantee timely fulfilment of orders.
  • Organise inventory management processes meticulously to achieve 100% stock accuracy through regular cycle counts, reporting mechanisms, and robust inventory controls.

What you bring:

To excel as Plant Site Manager at this new Johor location, your background should reflect substantial experience overseeing complex manufacturing operations within fast-evolving environments. Your interpersonal skills will allow you to connect meaningfully with colleagues across functions—from finance through logistics—ensuring smooth coordination throughout the supply chain. A commitment to upholding rigorous health & safety protocols demonstrates your dedication not only towards compliance but also towards creating a supportive workplace where everyone feels valued. Your approachability makes it easy for team members at all levels to seek guidance or share ideas openly; meanwhile your attention-to-detail ensures nothing slips through the cracks when it comes time for month-end closing or certification audits. Experience navigating local manufacturing regulations alongside customs procedures further enhances your suitability for this multifaceted role. Above all else: your passion for continuous improvement—whether it’s refining existing processes or introducing new efficiencies—will set you apart as someone who truly adds value every single day.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent qualification is required for this position.
  • At least five years’ progressive experience in operations or general management roles within manufacturing or related industries is essential.
  • Bilingual capabilities are highly desirable; proficiency in English plus another language would be advantageous for effective communication across diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership while being accountable for outcomes at both departmental and site-wide levels.
  • Proven track record of leading teams successfully by fostering collaboration, nurturing talent development initiatives, and promoting shared responsibility among colleagues.
  • Excellent organisational skills combined with analytical thinking enable you to interpret complex business documents effectively while making informed decisions under pressure.
  • Outstanding presentation abilities along with oral and written communication skills facilitate engagement at multiple management levels internally as well as externally with stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel & PowerPoint) supports your ability to analyse data trends efficiently while preparing insightful reports or presentations.
  • Adaptability is crucial; you thrive in dynamic environments where priorities may shift rapidly without compromising on quality or safety standards.
