What you'll do:

As a Senior Verification and Reliability Engineer based in Penang, you will immerse yourself in the full lifecycle of testing activities for innovative medical devices. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve designing robust test plans tailored to new product developments or modifications. You will execute these tests meticulously while documenting every step with clarity for both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders. Working closely with R&D teams, you will communicate progress updates regularly to ensure alignment across departments. • Designing comprehensive test plans and executing detailed verification and reliability tests for new product development as well as product change projects within the medical device sector.
• Generating clear, thorough technical documentation that accurately reflects testing outcomes and methodologies used throughout each project phase.
• Collaborating as an integral R&D project team member, contributing your expertise to verification and reliability tasks while maintaining open communication with colleagues.
• Troubleshooting complex situations by applying analytical thinking and proposing effective solutions that address both technical challenges and business needs.
• Supporting enhancements of functional and technical aspects of products and workflows by providing insightful feedback based on test results.
• Planning, tracking, and coordinating verification and reliability test campaigns to ensure timely completion aligned with project objectives, deadlines, and budgets.
• Managing test activities by guiding testers within projects, assuring seamless communication with all relevant stakeholders including project managers and engineers.
• Ensuring compliance with internal processes, SOPs, directives, guidelines, norms, as well as external regulatory requirements such as ISO 13485, ISO 9001 QSR, IVDD/IVDR, FDA.
• Mentoring and coaching other engineers by sharing knowledge, offering guidance on best practices in verification methodologies, and supporting their professional development.
