Digital Payments Operations Manager

Our client, a leading payment solutions provider, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Digital Payments Operations Manager to support the establishment of their new regional operations in Malaysia.

What you'll do:

As a Digital Payments Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in setting up our client's operational hub in Malaysia. You will be instrumental in recruiting and onboarding local talent to build a high-performing team.

• Support the establishment of operations in Malaysia including administrative, logistical, and compliance tasks
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding of local talent
• Implement and support the KYC (Know Your Customer) and onboarding processes
• Provide support in applying for financial licenses in other countries
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues related to systems, customer service, and workflows
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements

To succeed in this role, you are required to possess experience in digital payments , worked in a fintech for this role.

What you bring:

The ideal Digital Payments Operations Manager brings valuable industry experience, particularly within card schemes or other payment companies.

• Fluency in both Mandarin and English language is required
• Proven ability to manage resources effectively
• Strong understanding of KYC and onboarding processes
• Experience liaising with regulatory bodies for license applications
• Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
