What you'll do:
As a Treasury Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in connecting corporate clients with tailored treasury solutions that meet their unique financial objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients by understanding their treasury needs and providing suitable product solutions.
- Engage with clients both virtually and in-person to present treasury products such as foreign exchange, money market instruments, and basic derivative offerings like interest rate swaps or cross-currency swaps.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including back-office settlement staff to ensure seamless execution of client transactions and high-quality service delivery.
- Stay updated on relevant market trends, economic developments, and financial news to identify new business opportunities for the organisation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders using excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Japanese is considered an advantage.
- Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and proposals using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of treasury products by advising clients on appropriate solutions based on their specific requirements.
- Participate actively in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance service quality and client satisfaction within the department.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies as well as regulatory requirements when handling client transactions or sensitive information.
- Continuously seek feedback from clients to improve service delivery while fostering long-term loyalty through dependable support.
What you bring:
To excel as a Treasury Sales Specialist, you will bring hands-on experience from either financial services or treasury management environments.
- Minimum 1-4 years of experience working within financial services or treasury management roles is essential for success in this position.
- A PPKM Certificate is preferred but not mandatory; candidates without it are still encouraged to apply if they have relevant experience.
- Proven track record in corporate banking sales or back-office settlement functions is highly regarded alongside direct treasury sales exposure.
- Solid understanding of basic treasury products including foreign exchange (FX), money market instruments, interest rate swaps, and cross-currency swaps is required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities in English are necessary; additional language skills such as Mandarin or Japanese are advantageous but not compulsory.
- Demonstrated ability to develop rapport with clients as well as internal stakeholders through considerate communication and empathetic listening.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) is needed for preparing reports and presentations efficiently.
- A keen awareness of current market conditions combined with the ability to translate insights into actionable business opportunities will be beneficial.
