Finance Manager

Manage and supervise smaller teams while independently supporting finance activities across Financial Accounting & Reporting (FAR), Tax, Treasury, Group Reinsurance, Finance Operations and Performance Management. The role involves managing internal and external stakeholders effectively to achieve key business objectives while ensuring adherence to internal controls and finance policies.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead and develop a team of experienced Finance professionals, providing advanced financial analysis and modelling to support strategic initiatives.
• Provide in-depth financial analysis on business performance, resolve day-to-day finance-related issues and support cross-functional teams.
• Lead the preparation of management reports, financial analysis and key insights to brief leadership teams on projected business outcomes.
• Oversee the internal control framework, ensuring effective implementation and compliance with regulatory requirements across relevant business areas.
• Lead the development and implementation of finance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Review and evaluate finance processes, working closely with local Controllers to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Manage relationships with external agencies and ensure all regulatory and business commitments are delivered within the required timelines.
• Monitor changes in external requirements and coordinate the timely implementation of necessary changes.
• Act as a Finance SME for projects, internal initiatives and country-specific requirements, providing technical expertise and business insights.
