• Monitor financial performance by measuring results against targets, analysing variances, initiating corrective actions where necessary, and implementing improvements to minimise negative impacts.
• Maximise return on invested funds through identification of investment opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with the investment community.
• Prepare annual budgets by studying economic trends, developing forecasts based on financial data, and contributing accounting information to analyse variances.
• Coordinate updates on Corporate Plan progress to ensure alignment with business goals and facilitate informed decision-making.
• Ensure robust management of financial reporting processes including management reporting, related party disclosures, and tax reporting in compliance with relevant standards.
• Maintain up-to-date accounting policies and records to comply with current accounting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee timely and accurate reporting of periodic financial statements, statistical data, and other financial information required by stakeholders.
• Monitor bank-wide payment processes including Nostro account reconciliation while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements.
