What you'll do:

As the Assistant Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation’s daily finance functions.

  • You will manage daily accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • You will oversee accounts receivable activities, monitoring incoming payments and resolving any discrepancies with empathy and attention to detail.
  • You will clear financial backlogs by collaborating closely with colleagues across departments to ensure all outstanding items are addressed efficiently and thoroughly.
  • You will perform bank reconciliations regularly, verifying transactions and identifying any inconsistencies to maintain accurate financial records.
  • You will support month-end closing activities by preparing relevant documentation and assisting in the consolidation of financial statements.
  • You will contribute to process improvement initiatives by sharing insights from your experience in shared service centres or group consolidation environments.
  • You will assist in internal audits by providing necessary information and responding promptly to queries from auditors.
