Commercial Banking - Relationship Manager

Identify and develop new Commercial Banking opportunities to drive sustainable business growth, while managing and deepening existing customer relationships. Maximise revenue and share of wallet, conduct due diligence and credit analysis, monitor market trends, and proactively manage portfolio and asset quality. Ensure strong customer service, adherence to credit standards, and compliance with the Bank’s policies and guidelines.

Job Description

• Identify and develop new Commercial Banking opportunities to drive sustainable business growth, while managing and deepening relationships with existing customers.
• Market and sell the Bank’s loan products, while cross-selling relevant banking products and services to maximise revenue and share of wallet.
• Build strong customer relationships, understand clients’ banking needs, and manage expectations while maintaining a high level of service quality in line with SLA requirements.
• Manage and grow an assigned portfolio, proactively minimising customer attrition and increasing utilisation and share of business.
• Monitor market trends and business conditions to identify opportunities and provide relevant solutions to customers.
• Conduct due diligence, credit analysis and evaluation of loan applications and ad-hoc requests in accordance with the Bank’s risk parameters, credit standards and guidelines.
• Proactively monitor and manage portfolio asset quality, taking appropriate measures to minimise credit risks and maintain a healthy portfolio.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and other business units to provide effective solutions to customers’ banking needs.
• Maintain strong working relationships with peers and stakeholders to facilitate seamless service delivery and business growth.
