Head of Analytics – Banking Group

What Will You Do?
As Head of Data Analytics, you will lead the bank’s efforts in leveraging data to enhance business performance, customer engagement, and operational efficiency. You will:
• Shape Data-Driven Strategies and lead the development and execution of the bank’s data analytics strategy.
• Align data initiatives with business priorities and growth objectives. Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify opportunities and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Drive customer acquisition and cross-selling and use data to identify high-potential customers and build personalized acquisition strategies.
• Design and optimize cross-sell programs based on behavioral insights. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to enable data-informed campaigns.
• Champion innovation and lead the evolution of data tools, methodologies, and capabilities.
• Foster a culture of experimentation and forward-thinking within the team and stay ahead of industry trends and introduce cutting-edge analytics practices.
• Deliver impactful data projects and oversee end-to-end analytics project lifecycles - from scoping to implementation.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of data professionals and embed a strong sense of purpose, performance, and innovation within the team.

What You Bring:
The ideal candidate for the Head of Analytics position brings a strong blend of data expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership capability. You are a commercially minded analytics leader with a proven track record of translating complex data into actionable insights that drive business performance. You excel at cross-functional collaboration, leveraging data to inform decision-making, enhance customer strategies, and unlock new growth opportunities.

Key Requirements:
• 10–15 years of experience in data analytics within financial services; at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Deep understanding of wholesale banking, financial products, and risk management.
• Proficiency in analytics tools: Python, R, SQL, machine learning, and BI/data visualization platforms.
• Demonstrated success in building and executing enterprise-wide data strategies.
• Strong track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering data solutions that influence business decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence C-suite leaders.
• Strong awareness of data privacy, regulatory frameworks, and fintech trends.
