Actuarial Pricing Specialist

A leading Life Insurer is seeking a Pricing Actuary to join its growing actuarial team. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in product pricing, ensuring alignment with Group requirements and local regulatory standards while supporting the company’s broader business objectives. Beyond day-to-day pricing responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to strengthen pricing capabilities, and work closely with key stakeholders across the business.

What you'll do:

• Lead and support the pricing team across a range of product development and pricing initiatives
• Perform financial and actuarial assessments to support new products, campaigns and business propositions
• Review pricing assumptions, methodologies and model outputs to ensure robust and commercially sound recommendations
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to support product approvals and ensure adherence to relevant governance and regulatory requirements
• Provide actuarial insights on product profitability, distribution strategies and other commercial considerations
• Maintain and enhance pricing models, tools and processes to improve accuracy, efficiency and consistency across the function
• Partner with various business functions on product development and other strategic initiatives requiring actuarial input
• Identify opportunities to streamline existing processes and strengthen overall pricing capabilities within the team

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or another discipline with significant mathematical and analytical coursework is essential for this role
• At least six years of actuarial experience is required, Actuarial Reporting & Pricing
• Demonstrated proficiency in technical analysis and problem-solving skills enables you to tackle complex challenges effectively.
