Director of SSC

A leading global organisation is seeking a Director of Shared Service Centre to spearhead the growth and transformation of its SSC operations in Kuala Lumpur. This pivotal role offers you the opportunity to shape and scale multi-functional teams across Finance, Information Security, and Call Centre services, ensuring seamless cross-regional collaboration and operational excellence.

What you'll do:

• Lead and scale SSC operations across Finance, Information Security, and Call Centre functions, overseeing resources, facilities, and service delivery.
• Develop and execute global operating strategies with APAC, European, and US stakeholders to drive efficiency, cost optimisation, and service excellence.
• Oversee Finance operations, ensuring strong controls and regulatory compliance.
• Lead Call Centre and Information Security operations, driving customer satisfaction, risk management, security governance, and service quality.
• Drive process standardisation, automation, digital transformation, and system integration, using KPIs and SLAs to improve performance.
• Build high-performing international teams through talent development, coaching, stakeholder management, and collaboration with senior leadership.

What you'll bring:

• 15+ years’ Shared Services experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles managing large-scale operations.
• Proven expertise in process standardisation, automation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Strong experience leading Finance and Customer Service/Call Centre, with a focus on quality, controls, and compliance.
• Proven ability to lead large, international and remote teams across Europe, USA, and APAC.
• Track record in digital transformation, ERP implementation, system integration, and process optimisation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior leadership and driving change.
