What you'll do:

As a Master Data Management Analyst (Korean Speaker) based in Petaling Jaya, you will play an essential role in managing critical master data processes that underpin business operations across several countries.

  • Undertake a variety of operational activities related to customer, vendor, and employee master data management for assigned countries, ensuring all processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct daily controls as required by group policies, creating and storing evidence in line with internal control standards to maintain compliance.
  • Deliver all assigned processes within agreed key performance indicators (KPIs), supporting overall performance management objectives for the department.
  • Engage regularly with country teams and shared services partners to gather inputs and provide outputs necessary for the completion of common processes.
  • Address queries or escalations from stakeholders promptly, minimising business risk by resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant policies, controls, thresholds, and standard operating procedures, ensuring full compliance at all times including maintaining accurate support documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with Team Leads, Process Specialists, and business stakeholders to embed process changes, drive improvements, and address any deviations from established procedures.
  • Provide regular updates on process completion status and escalate any issues or concerns to Team Leads or Process Analysts/Specialists as needed.
  • Support both internal and external audit activities by preparing required documentation and responding to audit requests efficiently.
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting requirements, data analysis tasks, finance-related projects, on-the-job training for new joiners, retraining existing team members as needed, and contributing ideas for continuous improvement.

What you bring:

To excel as a Master Data Management Analyst (Korean Speaker), you will bring proven experience from similar roles where you have managed large volumes of sensitive data with precision.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience/qualification demonstrating your foundational knowledge of financial principles relevant to master data management.
  • At least two years’ experience working within Master Data Management roles where you have developed expertise in handling complex datasets across multiple functions or geographies.
  • Fluency in both English and Korean languages (spoken, read, written) enabling effective communication with diverse stakeholders across international teams.
  • Excellent communication skills allowing you to explain complex information clearly while building positive relationships within multicultural environments.
  • Strong adaptability demonstrated by your ability to adjust quickly when faced with new systems or evolving business requirements.
  • Proven analytical skills including the capacity to analyse financial data sets thoroughly, identify trends or anomalies quickly, and provide actionable insights that inform decision-making processes.
  • Experience supporting audit activities by preparing detailed documentation or responding promptly to auditor requests as part of compliance efforts.
  • A collaborative approach that enables you to work effectively within teams while also supporting new joiners through training or mentoring initiatives as required.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement shown by your willingness to share documented ideas that enhance quality or efficiency within existing processes.
