A leading global organisation is looking for an RTR Manager to join its growing GBS hub in Petaling Jaya. You will oversee end-to-end RTR processes across global region, lead a large team, and ensure operational excellence and compliance. What you’ll do:

As the RTR Operations Manager in Petaling Jaya, you’ll lead end-to-end financial operations across multiple regions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You’ll drive process improvements through automation and system enhancements, while collaborating globally to support strategic initiatives. In addition to overseeing month-end closings and reporting, you'll also focus on talent development—coaching your team, conducting reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within a collaborative and inclusive environment.

  • Oversee RTR operations across global region

  • Lead RTR transitions into the GBS model, including SOP development and issue resolution.

  • Collaborate with global and local leadership to align finance operations with strategic goals.

  • Support global projects and cross-functional initiatives within the shared services structure.

  • Manage and develop a team of 20–30 staff, driving improvements in processes, systems, and automation.

  • Monitor KPIs, enforce internal controls, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.

  • Lead multiple finance initiatives while ensuring resource alignment and project timelines.

  • Coach team members through goal setting, performance reviews, and tailored development plans.

What you bring:

You have strong experience in shared services, managing end-to-end financial operations across multiple regions. Your solid grounding in accounting principles is complemented by hands-on process improvement expertise. Known for your collaborative and adaptable approach, you work well with global stakeholders and lead with integrity. You inspire and develop your team through mentorship and feedback, while staying focused on continuous learning and operational excellence.

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, with CPA/MIA or equivalent certification.

  • At least 8 years’ experience in finance or SSCs, particularly in RTR operations.

  • At least 5 years of people management, leading teams of 15+ with proven talent development skills.

  • Experience in multinational or regional environments with strong stakeholder engagement.

  • Proficient in SAP HANA, COUPA, Blackline, and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).

  • Strong communication skills in English; Mandarin is a plus.

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in driving process improvements or migrations.

  • A service-driven mindset with a strong grasp of accounting standards and business alignment.
