Head of Fraud Management (hybrid)
Head of Fraud Management (hybrid, PJ) * Play a key role in designing and embedding multi-layered fraud controls across the entire process, driving data quality initiatives and mitigating supplier risks through advanced technologies. * Lead and mentor a diverse team of analysts and specialists across multiple regions while collaborating closely with internal departments and external partners such as banks, regulators, and law enforcement.
What you'll do:
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing sophisticated anti-fraud frameworks that span every stage of supplier engagement—from onboarding through payment—while leveraging advanced analytics to detect anomalies.
- Architect and continuously refine comprehensive anti-fraud strategies spanning supplier onboarding, invoice processing, payments, and vendor lifecycle management.
- Implement AML/KYC checks alongside digital-channel anomaly detection using AI/ML technologies to ensure supply-chain integrity.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, control audits, targeted spot checks, and root-cause analyses to identify vulnerabilities and close control gaps.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-regional team of 15- 20 fraud analysts, data scientists, and specialists while managing the annual budget for tools, training, and external audits.
- Define quarterly KPIs for the team, conduct performance reviews, develop succession plans, and foster professional growth within the group.
- Champion the adoption of fraud management technologies to reduce risk exposure while minimising manual intervention through automation.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for all fraud-related issues by working collaboratively with Cybersecurity, Procurement, Finance, IT, Legal teams as well as external partners including banks and regulators.
- Present fraud trends, prevention strategies, remediation plans to Audit Committees and Risk Councils while maintaining real-time dashboards in Power BI or QlikSence tracking key metrics
- Evaluate emerging fraud-detection tools (such as SAS Fraud or AI/ML platforms), recommend enhancements for existing systems, and lead remediation sprints for continuous process improvement.
What you bring:
To excel as Head of Fraud Management you will bring extensive experience from roles focused on fraud prevention compliance or procurement ideally within large multinational environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance Accounting, Information Technology or related field demonstrating strong academic grounding relevant to this complex area.
- Minimum eight years’ experience in fraud prevention compliance procurement or financial services providing deep practical knowledge of industry best practices.
- Advanced command of business intelligence tools such as Power BI Tableau coupled with solid SQL skills for building insightful dashboards reports.
- Excellent stakeholder management communication skills including experience presenting findings recommendations to C-suite audit committees fostering trust transparency.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as Cybersecurity Procurement Finance IT Legal ensuring holistic approach to risk mitigation.
- Experience implementing AML KYC checks digital anomaly detection AI ML solutions supporting robust anti-fraud measures.
- Strong analytical mindset capable of conducting thorough risk assessments control audits root-cause analyses driving continuous improvement initiatives.
