What you'll do:

As a Finance Project Management Specialist, you will immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where your ability to coordinate complex projects will be highly valued. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve working alongside global colleagues to roll out transformative initiatives across various finance functions. By developing detailed project plans and managing every aspect from risk assessment to stakeholder engagement, you will ensure seamless execution of critical projects.   • Lead end-to-end management of cross-functional finance projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with both global and regional stakeholders to implement standardisation and transformation initiatives across core finance processes such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R).
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, monitor progress meticulously, manage potential risks proactively, and provide regular updates to senior leadership teams.
  • Coordinate change management activities by engaging stakeholders effectively, delivering targeted training sessions, and maintaining clear communication throughout project lifecycles.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and streamlining using methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma to enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Drive adoption of process improvements that not only increase accuracy but also ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analyses to address process gaps or inefficiencies, implementing sustainable corrective actions for long-term success.
  • Measure, analyse, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the impact of improvement initiatives and support data-driven decision making.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Shared Services Centre and other business units for all transformation-related activities.
  • Facilitate workshops and process reviews with finance teams to gather insights, encourage open dialogue, and foster a culture dedicated to continuous improvement.

  • Demonstrated exposure to project management principles allows you to confidently lead initiatives from conception through execution.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP or Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) are highly desirable as they reflect your commitment to quality improvement methodologies.
  • A strong understanding of core finance processes including P2P, O2C, and R2R enables you to identify meaningful opportunities for optimisation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills empower you to build trust-based relationships across multiple levels of the organisation.
