What you'll do:

As an Order to Cash Order Management Specialist, you will play a central role in overseeing the complete lifecycle of customer orders. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve processing orders in ERP systems with meticulous attention to detail, verifying all aspects of each transaction from pricing through delivery terms. You will work hand-in-hand with supply chain partners to ensure products are delivered promptly while also collaborating with sales and customer service teams to resolve any queries or discrepancies. Your ability to manage billing activities accurately will be crucial in maintaining smooth financial operations. Additionally, you will contribute significantly during audits by preparing essential documentation that demonstrates compliance with internal controls. By supporting dashboard updates and engaging in continuous improvement projects, you will help drive greater efficiency across the OTC function. Success in this role comes from your commitment to accuracy, your collaborative approach when working across departments, and your dedication to delivering exceptional service both internally and externally.

  • Manage and process customer orders using ERP systems from initial entry through to final billing, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date at every stage.
  • Verify order details such as pricing, product availability, customer information, and delivery terms to guarantee smooth processing and fulfilment.
  • Handle the full spectrum of order management tasks including credit notes, customer claims, rebates, and returns while ensuring timely resolution for customers.
  • Work collaboratively with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure prompt and precise order fulfilment that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Partner with sales and customer service colleagues to address order discrepancies or inquiries quickly and effectively.
  • Monitor open orders, backorders, and delivery issues by following up proactively to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform billing activities by generating invoices accurately and on time in accordance with contractual agreements.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts related to order management and support period-end close activities as required by the finance team.
  • Support reporting requirements for the OTC function by updating dashboards and participating in initiatives aimed at enhancing process efficiency.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors by preparing documentation and providing necessary support to ensure compliance with US GAAP standards and company policies.

Above all else, your collaborative spirit contributes positively towards building an inclusive team environment where everyone feels supported.
