What you'll do:

As a Senior Analyst RTR, your role will be pivotal in driving the company's financial success. You will be responsible for analysing complex financial data, identifying key trends, making strategic recommendations, and ensuring accurate reporting. Your expertise will enable you to effectively partner with business leaders to advise on the financial implications of proposed changes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assess system capabilities and recommend enhancements. Your meticulous attention to detail will be essential as you prepare month-end journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and annual tax filings.

  • Analyse and interpret complex monthly financial results to identify financial issues for business leaders
  • Provide insights and make recommendations regarding possible course corrections
  • Analyse weekly and monthly trends in partnership with business leaders to develop/update quarterly forecasts and budgets
  • Draw findings from financial and trend reports, synthesise information, and create presentations for management
  • Partner with leaders to advise on financial impact of recent/proposed process changes
  • Assess system capabilities and process efficiencies, and make recommendations for enhancements and upgrades
  • Prepare and process month-end journal entries; prepare balance sheet account reconciliations; calculate, update, and maintain product standard cost in ERP system
  • Prepare annual tax filings
  • Respond and resolve questions for tax consultants and auditors in annual statutory filings

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Analyst RTR position brings a wealth of experience in cost accounting within an international context. You possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field and have at least 5 years of relevant experience. Your expertise extends to MS Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel, and you are familiar with ERP systems such as JDE, Oracle, or SAP. Your excellent communication skills enable you to interact professionally at all levels within the organisation. You are known for your problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and investigative skills. A solid understanding of GAAP and SOX is essential for this role. Your ability to handle confidential information with discretion and your meticulous attention to detail set you apart.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • At least 5 years’ of previous related cost accounting experience
  • Experience working in a subsidiary area within an international company, preferably in the US
  • Proven expertise in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel and related financial systems; ERP (e.g., JDE, Oracle, SAP) experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills.
  • Substantial knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organisational levels.
