Our client is on the hunt for a meticulous and organised Project Control Administrator to bolster project teams in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring precise documentation, prompt reporting, cost tracking, and effective project control processes throughout the project lifecycle. What you'll do:
As a Project Control Administrator, your role will be central to the success of our client's projects. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and providing timely updates on project progress. Your keen attention to detail will be crucial as you monitor budgets, track costs, coordinate meetings, and ensure compliance with internal control standards. Your ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams will enable you to gather and consolidate vital project data for analysis. With your support, our client's projects will run smoothly from inception to completion.
- Maintain and update project documentation, schedules, and records in accordance with company procedures.
- Support project planning by assisting with work breakdown structures (WBS), timelines, and resource allocations.
- Monitor project progress and support the preparation of regular reports on schedule status, cost tracking, and risks.
- Assist in tracking budget expenditures, purchase orders, and invoicing in collaboration with the finance or procurement teams.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Ensure compliance with internal control standards and project governance requirements.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to gather and consolidate project data for analysis.
- Maintain document control systems and ensure project files are accurately archived.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Project Control Administrator position brings a wealth of experience in project administration or coordination. Armed with a diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering or a related field; you have honed your organisational skills over 1-3 years in a similar role. Your proficiency in MS Office suite coupled with your familiarity with project management software will be invaluable in this role. Your effective communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams, while your ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure will ensure the smooth running of projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in AP/ AR, project administration, project coordination, or a similar support role.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficieny in Mandarin speaking would be an added advantage
