Procure-to-Pay Planning and Transition Lead

A leading insurance organisation is seeking a Procure-to-Pay Planning and Transition Lead to drive the integrated planning, delivery coordination, business transition, and operational readiness of their Country Procurement Target Operating Model.

What you'll do:

As the Procure-to-Pay Planning and Transition Lead you will be responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end planning and execution of procurement transformation projects.

• Own and maintain the integrated Country Procurement Target Operating Model plan throughout mobilisation, detailed design, implementation, validation, transition, stabilisation, and closure phases with clear milestones and completion evidence.
• Coordinate execution across organisational roles, service scope, governance policies and procedures, controls, technology access, data reporting, intercompany arrangements, recharge mechanisms, and business-unit readiness.
• Facilitate dependencies across Procurement, Finance, Technology, Operations, Human Resources, Legal, Tax, Risk and Control teams as well as local business units and external vendors.
• Define and execute transition strategies including phased role movement, cutover rehearsals, hypercare governance structures, service acceptance criteria, formal handover to business-as-usual owners.
• Build comprehensive transition plans covering people management, process optimisation, technology integration, data controls reporting support models knowledge transfer documentation third-party readiness service continuity.
• Facilitate readiness checkpoints escalate gaps affecting deployment service continuity control effectiveness regulatory obligations or user experience ensuring all unresolved items have accountable owners.
• Support other procurement transformation initiatives by leading or assisting current-state assessments root-cause analysis targeted improvement actions stakeholder engagement communications learning adoption activities.

What you bring:

To excel as a Procure-to-Pay Planning and Transition Lead, you have proven ability to lead complex multi-stream projects from initial planning through go-live hypercare service transition BAU handover will be crucial.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferably in Finance Accounting Procurement Business Information Systems or related discipline is required for this position.
• A recognised qualification in project programme change process-improvement or service-management would be an added advantage enhancing your credibility in this role.
• 8-10 years’ experience in Target Operating Model planning project delivery business transition transformation or operational change ideally within large-scale finance procurement ERP or P2P programmes is essential.
• Hands-on experience improving P2P processes working with enterprise platforms such as Coupa Oracle SAP or similar solutions showcases your technical proficiency.
• Experience coordinating process design testing data cutover operational readiness support-model design benefits tracking ensures you can handle multifaceted responsibilities effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to incorporate change impact stakeholder engagement communications learning adoption into delivery plans highlights your interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of end-to-end P2P processes controls operating models service transition continuous-improvement methods is vital for success in this role.
• High standards of documentation governance discipline quality assurance completion evidence reflect your meticulousness.
