What you'll do:


As a Finance and Controlling Management Trainee based in Melaka—with the potential for secondment throughout APAC—you will immerse yourself in a broad spectrum of finance functions. Your daily activities will involve preparing detailed financial reports for both group-wide consolidation and statutory compliance purposes. You will play an integral role in supporting management accounting processes as well as fulfilling government reporting requirements. By assisting with tax analysis and managing local trade affairs compliance matters, you will ensure that all operations adhere strictly to current regulations. Your responsibilities will also include checking internal controls through regular audits while collaborating extensively with shared services teams, regional finance experts, and cross-functional colleagues. In addition to providing analytical support for business planning initiatives—such as identifying cost-saving measures—you will take ownership of diverse finance-related projects assigned by leadership. * Prepare accurate financial reporting and control documentation for both group-level and statutory requirements while ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
