What you'll do:

• Develop and maintain an integrated risk management framework that includes comprehensive risk assessment methodologies and processes tailored to the organisation’s needs.
• Drive the adoption of a proactive risk management culture by promoting ethical behaviour and responsible decision-making throughout all levels of the business.
• Assess and monitor the overall risk profile of the organisation, providing insightful analysis on existing controls and their effectiveness to senior stakeholders.
• Offer guidance and constructive challenge to risk owners across various departments, supporting them in enhancing their risk management practices.
• Ensure full compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including implementing robust anti-bribery and corruption measures.
• Collaborate closely with internal audit teams to identify potential areas of improvement within business continuity planning and operational resilience.

What you bring:

• A minimum of 15 years’ experience in corporate compliance, internal audit, or risk management roles within large organisations, demonstrating consistent progression into positions of greater responsibility.
• At least 7 years’ proven track record in a management capacity where you have led teams or projects focused on enterprise-wide risk initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Economics, Business Administration or another relevant field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated ability to foster a proactive risk management culture grounded in ethical principles across diverse teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of business processes—preferably gained within sectors such as oil and gas—enabling you to tailor solutions that fit unique operational contexts.
