What you'll do:

  • Lead the end-to-end business planning processes, including the preparation of Annual Business Plans and Quarterly Forecasts in alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Support comprehensive financial planning activities such as budget preparation, weekly and monthly forecasting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all submissions.
  • Consolidate and analyse financial performance data against established plans to provide actionable insights for management review.
  • Develop, implement, and manage robust pricing strategies in close collaboration with key internal stakeholders to drive profitability.
  • Prepare detailed financial and operational reports on a regular basis, covering areas such as Advertising and Material expenses for informed decision-making.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting support to various business units as required by evolving business needs.
  • Conduct thorough business case evaluations for major projects, including return on investment analyses and post-implementation reviews to ensure cost optimisation goals are met.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance financial planning processes and pricing methodologies for improved cost control and efficiency.
  • Collect, interpret, and present complex financial and business data to support senior management’s strategic decisions.
  • Participate actively in cross-functional business initiatives, contributing finance expertise to drive successful project outcomes.

What you bring:

  • A recognised degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification is essential; holding ACCA, CPA or CIMA certification would be highly advantageous for this position.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, particularly advanced Excel skills; experience with Excel Macros, Power Query or Power BI would set you apart from other candidates.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities combined with sound problem-solving skills enable you to interpret complex data accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills paired with clear communication abilities allow you to collaborate effectively across multiple teams within the organisation.
  • A proactive approach coupled with a dependable work ethic ensures you can adapt quickly within changing environments while managing multiple priorities seamlessly.
  • Previous experience in external audit or audit-related roles is preferred as it provides valuable insight into best practices for compliance and internal controls.
