What you'll do:

As an Assistant Manager Financial Analyst based in Selangor, you will play a crucial part in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive business performance. Your day-to-day activities will involve building visually compelling dashboards using Power BI to track essential metrics while ensuring all reports are both accurate and accessible for stakeholders across multiple departments.

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualise key business metrics and trends for various stakeholders across the organisation.
• Create, update, and optimise Excel macros and automated tools to streamline recurring data processes and enhance the efficiency of regular reporting cycles.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify revenue growth opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations to management.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Finance to gather requirements, understand business objectives, and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of all financial data used in reporting by implementing robust validation checks and quality control measures.
• Translate complex datasets into easy-to-understand visualisations that enable non-technical stakeholders to make informed decisions quickly.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports by providing relevant data extracts, commentary, and trend analysis as required.
• Continuously monitor industry trends and best practices in data analytics to recommend improvements in current reporting processes or tools.
• Assist in ad hoc projects or deep-dive analyses as requested by senior management or other departments within the organisation.

What you bring:

To excel as an Assistant Manager Financial Analyst in this role based in Selangor, you will draw upon your solid academic background in finance-related disciplines alongside several years’ practical experience analysing large datasets within fast-moving environments.

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics or a related field is required for this position.
