Senior FP&A Manager (FMCG)
Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join their team in Shah Alam. This role acts as the analytical engine of the company, providing insights and support for business decision making towards achieving business goals.
As a Senior FP&A Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving the financial success of the company. You will be responsible for managing financial reporting to both local teams and headquarters. Your ability to analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators across all areas of revenue will be crucial in this role. You will also monitor performance indicators and highlight trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accurate and timely financial reporting to both local team and headquarter.
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
- Assist in managing the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools.
- Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in marketing programs as well as new projects.
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
The ideal candidate for the Senior FP&A Manager position brings a wealth of experience in accounting and finance. With at least 10 years' experience in a FMCG commercial environment with a solid statutory/audit/tax background
Key Requirements:
- Professional Degree or bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance.
- At least 10 years’ working experience from FMCG commercial with solid Statutory/ Audit/ Tax background.
- Strong leadership skill and ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Highest standards of Integrity in work, highly organized and meticulous with data.
- Ability to think Out-of-the-box, strive toward operation excellence.
- Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English / Mandarin.
