Head of Group Reporting

A leading organisation in Malaysia is seeking a Head of Group Reporting to oversee the financial consolidation and reporting processes across all entities. This pivotal role offers you the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, including management and the Board of Directors, ensuring that group-wide financial performance is accurately reviewed and analysed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the group consolidation process across all entities in Malaysia.
• Serve as the key point of contact for group audit and taxation matters.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and management, including preparing and delivering financial presentations and participating in management meetings.
• Review groupwide financial performance, analyse variances against budget, and provide insights to support business decision making.
• Lead and manage corporate financing activities.

Requirements:

• 18 years of relevant working experience, with significant recent experience in a group-level finance role.
• Mature, confident, and commercially minded, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage effectively with senior management and the Board of Directors.
• Strong technical accounting and financial expertise, with familiarity with Bursa Malaysia requirements, group consolidation, and applicable accounting standards.
• Prior experience with a external audit firm is preferred.
