In addition to overseeing traditional finance duties such as budgeting, tax management, audit coordination, and detailed reporting for top management decision-making, you will also champion IT strategy by guiding system enhancements that align with business goals. Your role extends beyond numbers: you will actively coach your team members to develop their potential while upholding best practices in compliance management. By presenting clear insights at board meetings and collaborating across departments—from supply chain partners to external auditors—you will help shape sound business decisions that drive sustainable success.

  • Optimise funding strategies for both short-term and long-term borrowings while safeguarding cash flow to ensure the company’s financial stability.
  • Oversee all accounting activities by managing accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems in strict adherence to generally accepted accounting principles and legal requirements.
  • Direct the preparation and approval of periodic financial reports such as profit & loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and profitability analyses in line with corporate guidelines.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to the management team by identifying trends and deviations in results, offering actionable recommendations for corrective measures.
  • Establish effective accounting controls, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and risk mitigation processes to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure timely completion of monthly financial closings while guaranteeing all activities comply with IFRS, taxation laws, and statutory regulations.
  • Present comprehensive group financial performance updates during Board of Directors meetings as well as Group Management meetings.
  • Plan and oversee the strategic development of IT systems and infrastructure to ensure sustainable support for evolving business needs across the group.
  • Coach and mentor staff within the division to enhance capabilities, skills, and knowledge through structured talent management programmes.
  • Monitor departmental budgets closely to achieve cost-effectiveness while maintaining compliance with health, safety, environmental standards (including ISO 9002/14000/HACCP) and internal compliance management systems.
