Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to lead their financial operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive strategic financial initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to high-level business strategy within a property development holding company. The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with senior leaders, optimise financial processes, and play a pivotal role in the company's success.

What you'll do:
As a Financial Controller, you will be at the forefront of managing the company's financial health. Your role will involve preparing accurate financial statements, conducting detailed financial analysis, evaluating potential investments, coordinating budget processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing cash flow, leading the finance team, among other responsibilities. Your expertise will be crucial in driving strategic decisions that align with business goals and objectives.
* Prepare accurate and timely financial statements including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow report (including forecast).
* Review the presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the executive team and board of directors.
* Conduct detailed financial analysis to guide strategic decision-making and performance tracking.
* Evaluate potential new investments and projects, conduct feasibility studies and ROI analyses.
* Prepare and coordinate the annual budget process for PD pillar and its subsidiaries.
* Address all gaps identified during the due diligence process conducted by KPMG, PwC, and Zico.
* Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and optimize working capital.
* Ensure that the company adheres to all legal requirements for an IPO.
* Lead and mentor the finance department, fostering a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and continuous learning.
What you bring:
As our ideal candidate for the Financial Controller position, you bring along a wealth of experience in similar roles within property development holding companies. You possess strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes. Your experience in strategic planning, risk management, detailed financial analysis preparation of accurate reports sets you apart. Additionally, your excellent leadership skills enable you to manage a finance team effectively while fostering a culture of accountability and performance excellence.
* Proven experience in a similar role within a property development holding company.
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
* Experience in strategic planning and risk management.
* Ability to conduct detailed financial analysis and prepare accurate financial reports.
* Experience in managing a finance team and fostering a culture of accountability and performance excellence.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with senior leaders.
