Financial Controller

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Financial Controller to join their team. This senior-level role involves managing a broad spectrum of financial tasks, including accounting, financial reporting, statutory audit, tax, cashflow and working capital planning and management.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing and improving financial data accuracy and operations, providing meaningful business insights through month-end and quarterly flash reporting.

What you'll do:

As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of financial tasks. Your excellent analytical skills will be put to use as you review and analyse profit & loss and balance sheets, ensuring the accuracy of general ledger and sub-ledger accounts.

• Provide guidance on month-end closing to entity finance managers
• Review and analyse profit & loss and balance sheet
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger and sub-ledger accounts
• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop annual budgets
• Manage the yearly statutory audit and tax filing
• Establish standardised operating procedures for identifying, managing and reporting potential bad debts
• Manage timeline and regulatory requirements on all inter-company transactions
