What you'll do:

As a Supply Chain Finance Analyst based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be instrumental in driving the success of the organisation’s manufacturing operations through expert financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve managing large volumes of complex data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy for critical business decisions.

  • Take ownership of collecting, cleaning, consolidating, and validating financial and operational data from ERP systems to ensure consistency and integrity across all reporting platforms.
  • Develop and maintain structured databases, robust data models, and automated reporting tools that streamline information flow throughout the supply chain finance function.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports related to manufacturing supply chain performance, including cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory valuation, and working capital metrics.
  • Conduct detailed financial analyses across multiple regions to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform strategic planning initiatives.
  • Provide actionable insights by translating complex financial data into clear operational strategies aimed at improving efficiency and reducing costs within the supply chain.
  • Collaborate closely with finance, operations, procurement, and logistics teams to align financial plans with broader business objectives.
  • Design dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain financial performance in real time.

What you bring:

To excel as Supply Chain Finance Analyst in this organisation, you will bring substantial experience from similar roles where you have managed intricate datasets within manufacturing or supply chain contexts.

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or a related discipline is required; additional qualifications such as CPA, CMA or MBA are considered advantageous.
  • At least five years’ experience working in supply chain finance or manufacturing finance roles with significant exposure to data management and financial analysis responsibilities.
  • Advanced proficiency using Excel along with Power Query, Power BI, Tableau or similar analytical tools for building models and automating reports.
  • Proven track record of collaborating effectively across functions including operations, procurement, logistics, and finance teams on shared objectives.
  • Ability to develop structured databases as well as design dashboards for real-time performance monitoring using relevant software solutions.
