Commercial Finance Manager

Our client is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide financial support and guidance to the Sales Controller and Business Partners, while also contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and simulation processes.

This role requires a proactive attitude with an agile mindset, excellent communication skills at all levels, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while providing solid financial analysis to assist in business decisions and develop a lean database for such analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide all financial support required by Sales Controller & Business Partners (Sales & Trade Marketing Team).
• Independently review & challenge business proposals, plans & decisions.
• Participate in the process of monthly closing.
• Support on preparation of gross-to-net reporting for Actual, Budget & Forecast.
• Support on validation of trade claims from customers.
• Support on managing internal gross-to-net system.
• Proactively contribute to maintaining a robust internal control.
• Provide solid financial analysis to assist in business decisions and develop a lean database for such analysis.

The successful candidate will have the chance to make a significant impact by independently reviewing and challenging business proposals, plans, and decisions.

Key Requirements:

• ACCA, CIMA, or Degree in Accounting / Finance or its equivalent.
• 3 – 5 years relevant experience. Experience in FMCGs in the field of Accounting / Finance. Experience in business partnerships and audits will be an added advantage.
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Financial Tools (SAP) and Modelling.
• Team player.
• Able to communicate at all levels.
• Proactive attitude with agile mindset – self-initiator, resourceful, independent, and good follow through.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
