GL, Team Lead (Hybrid)

What you'll do:

As an GL Team Lead, your role will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with Accounting Policies, IFRS, and internal controls.

• Deliver accurate and timely financial reports, including P&L and balance sheet reviews
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
• Collaborate with internal control teams to ensure timely execution and remediation of controls
• Drive process improvements and support transitions of new activities
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in accounting processes
• Monitor team KPIs, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Manage team performance and relationships with SSC, country teams, and CFO office

What you bring:

The successful GL Team Lead will bring a wealth of experience from the finance sector along with a degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite
• Strong understanding of tax codes and laws
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum 8 years of GL experience in APAC, including 3+ years in a supervisory role managing a team of 9-12.
• Shared services experience preferred.
