What you'll do:

• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring all data is reliable and compliant with relevant standards.
• Review accounting entries meticulously to guarantee transactions are recorded accurately according to internal policies and statutory requirements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes by coordinating documentation, schedules, and supporting records for audit purposes.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance reporting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure reporting deadlines are consistently met by maintaining high standards of accuracy in all financial data submitted.
• Support the Senior Finance Manager in preparing ad-hoc financial reports, analysis, and presentations tailored to business needs.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process by collaborating with stakeholders across departments to gather information and provide insights.
• Help prepare financial forecasts and projections based on business strategies and market conditions, monitoring actual performance against budgeted targets.
• Collaborate with various teams to identify areas for cost optimisation and revenue enhancement through thorough analysis and stakeholder engagement.
• Maintain proper financial documentation, supporting records, and audit trails in accordance with company policies while assisting internal and external audit activities.

What you bring:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or any recognised accounting professional qualifications is required for this role.
• At least 5-6 years of proven experience in a Finance or Accounting position within a reputable organisation is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy in financial reporting is highly valued.
• Strong stakeholder management skills coupled with commitment to collaborative working practices are necessary.
• Experience using SAP software will be considered an added advantage for this position.
• Frequent user of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is expected.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English is required for effective communication across teams.
• Ability to take initiative responsibly while demonstrating ownership over assigned tasks is important.
