You will act as a strategic business partner and core member of the leadership team, driving profitable growth for the company. This role goes beyond traditional financial control, focusing on shaping commercial strategy, leading the finance team to provide actionable insights, and acting as a key architect in business decision-making with management team.

Key Accountabilities

• Strategic Growth Leadership: Actively influence and contribute to the formulation of corporate strategy by leading annual strategic planning, long-term operational forecasting, and capital allocation.
• Commercial Business Partnering: Provide financial analysis that directly challenges and shapes commercial decision-making (pricing, promotions, and spending), moving beyond reporting to proactive
• Operational Optimization & Transformation: Challenge the existing modus operandi by modernizing finance processes, structures, and systems to align with company's scale, ensuring agility and scalability.
• Team Development: Mentoring and leading the finance team to adopt a customer-service culture, prioritizing cross-functional collaboration and financial competency across both finance and operational

Responsibilities

• Advanced Planning & Analysis:
  • Drive the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of budgets, Monitoring the rolling Estimates (LE), and P&L for management team on the overall business.
  • Develop and monitor advanced financial KPIs to ensure margin and pricing targets are met as per budget while identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Participate as a key voice in planning and monthly discipline meetings, advocating for financial health and profitable growth.

· Commercial Excellence:

• Become an expert on external market dynamics, competitor strategies, and retail activities (pricing, merchandising).
• Lead ROI analysis for Customer Business Plans, ensuring all investments support brand strategies and corporate long-term goals.
• Actively participate in Joint Business Planning (JBP) sessions as a primary finance

· Communication & Stakeholder Management:

• Bridge the gap between internal and external data, translating complex financial performance into clear, actionable narratives for HOD management and commercial teams.
• Ensure an open, timely, and collaborative dialogue across the Finance and Customer Development (CD) teams.

this role interacts frequently with Retailers.

It also interacts regularly with all levels of the employees within Malaysia operation and Regional HQs in Hong Kong.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this incumbent will be required to travel to other cities in Malaysia from time to time. Occasional overseas travel for attending meetings and trainings is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required, CPA/MBA
• Minimum 8 years relevant Accounting/Financial experience required, Commercial experience
• Relevant systems knowledge preferred - CBP, Excel, SAP and AI
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English
• Computer literate
